Katrina Radke, Olympian

Katrina Radke is an internationally recognized swimmer and motivational speaker on self-empowerment and achieving peak performance.

Her swimming accomplishments include winning five gold medals in global competition, and placing fifth in the 200-meter butterfly at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, American record holder and U.S. Open, Australian Open and Italian Open record holder. She was also the youngest U.S. National Team Member at age 14, and was crowned the U.S. National Champion in 1990. She also competed at World Championships in January 1991, where she competed in 200-meter butterfly and was a member of 4x200 Freestyle relay.

In 1991, she was honored to serve as Co-Captain of the U.S. National Swimming Team. She was a Member of the U.S. National Team and ranked in at least the top 15 in the world in various events for eight years, ranking in at least the top five for four of these years. Katrina attended Germantown Academy, top Prep school for swimming, where she captained the swimming and cross-country team in 1989, broke national prep school records, and led the swimming team to two national prep school titles.

She attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she captained the team, was school record holder in freestyle and backstroke events, and went undefeated in the 200-meter butterfly in two dual meet seasons.

After graduating with a bachelor's of art degree in International Business and a minor in Russian Language from UC Berkeley in 1995, Katrina went on to be trained as a marriage and family therapist, completing part of her internship through the Yale School of Medicine. She has used these skills as a personal coach and motivational speaker, combining her expertise of mind/body peak performance with her psychological training to speak to audiences.

Katrina has recently worked as a business executive in the behavioral healthcare industry. She is currently Director of Olympian Relations for the San Francisco 2012 Olympic bid committee, and an actress. She is in the Hall of Fame at Germantown Academy in Philadelphia, is on the Wall of Fame of Minnesota, is in Women's Who Who, and has received a Key to her hometown of Morris, MN.
