Jennifer Azzi, Utah Starzz

'Quit' is a foreign word to Jennifer Azzi. Not heavily recruited out of high school, Azzi used her incredible work ethic to become an All-American guard at Stanford University, and helped lead the Cardinals to their 1990 NCAA title. After graduation, Azzi traveled to Europe for a five-year professional career that took her to Italy, France and Sweden.

Her perseverance carried over into her USA basketball career as well. After being named an alternate to the 1992 U.S. Olympic team, she continued training and earned a spot on the National team. In 1994, she was a member of two medaled teams, hitting Gold at the Goodwill Games and Bronze at the Women's World Championship. Two years later, she represented the United States in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and helped win the Gold.

Since then, she has continued her professional career in the United States, first with the ABL's San Jose Lasers and currently with the WNBA's Utah Starzz.
